Dr. Thomas C Kappen, BDS, MDS (India), MSD (USA), MOrthRCS, FRSM (UK).

Dr. Thomas C Kappen is an internationally known dentist with qualifications from three different continents (Asia, North America and Europe). He completed his Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) and Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) in Periodontics from India. After teaching in various universities in India he went to USA and completed Master of Science in Dentistry (MSD) in Orthodontics from Saint Louis University, St. Louis, Missouri. While in USA he worked at The Herbert Hoover Dental Clinic, St. Louis, Missouri. He also taught at the orthodontic department of the Southern Illionis University, Alton, Illinois, USA. He later moved to Doha, Qatar to work at Hamad Medical Corporation. Later on he worked in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia at Hail Dental Centre, Hail and at King Fahd Military Medical Complex, Dhahran. After Saudi Arabia, he moved to Doha, Qatar to work at Dr. Sarah's Specialist Dental Centre.

Dr. Kappen received the Membership in Orthodontics of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (MOrthRCSEd), UK. He is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Medicine (FRSM), UK. He was American Board of Orthodontics certified from 2005 to 2010. He has publications in various dental journals, and has made presentations and lectures at various conferences. He is a life member of the Indian Dental Association and the Indian Orthodontic Society. He was formerly a member of the American Association of Orthodontists and the Indian Society of Periodontology. He has participated in numerous courses and conferences at the national and international level.

Dr. Kappen has received many awards and honors including the International College of Dentists award. He is a member of the Rotary Club of Pala and is a Paul Harris Fellow. He is also a member of the River Valley Club of Pala.
